Admission Into the Dance Degree Program
To be accepted as a dance degree candidate, you must apply to the University of Wisconsin–Madison Office of Admissions. Prospective dance degree students must apply to audition and pass the audition.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
Students can fund their undergraduate education both through federal and state funding (grants and financial aid) and through awarded scholarships. Visit the Office of Student Financial Aid for more information on funding your education.
To apply for UW–Madison scholarships, visit the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WiSH) and fill out an application. Based on your areas of interest, you will be directed to appropriate scholarships for which you are eligible.
Dance degree and certificate students who demonstrate emerging professionalism in the field are eligible to apply for scholarships and awards through the department. Funds for these scholarships are made possible through generous gifts from donors and friends of the department. Read more about dance scholarship opportunities.
