Friends of Dance
The FRIENDS OF DANCE is a newly-forming group that supports and promotes UW-Madison Dance Department's mission. Your membership with Friends of Dance helps us not only to assist our students, but also to support our incredible staff and faculty, who work hard to ensure the continuing success and growth of the department. Funds raised by FRIENDS OF DANCE will provide scholarships for our deserving students, awards recognizing student achievements, and opportunities to undertake special projects, summer study, and performances; these funds also support department events and enable us to recruit and retain promising students and excellent faculty, recognize exceptional dance faculty and staff, develop and take on new initiatives and programs, and bring in guest artists and scholars.
Become a contributor, stay connected to the department, and join us in this exciting time as we move forward—illuminating, embracing, enriching, educating, understanding, inspiring, creating—dancing!
