Artist-In-Residence Opportunities

The UW-Madison Dance Department invites interested artists to apply for artist in residence opportunities. The department typically invites 2-3 artists each year to work with students, fall/spring/summer, for 2-3 weeks. The residency will culminate in a performance in the Margaret H'Doubler Performance Space.

How to Apply

Interested artists must submit an online application. The Dance Department accepts applications on a rolling basis. All applications that have been submitted by Oct 31 will be considered for review beginning Nov 1. Residencies will take place no sooner than the following academic year (for example, applicants submitting prior to October 31, 2018, will be considered for a residency no earlier than academic year 2019-20).
