Summer Dance Pre-Collegiate Invitational

June 21-23, 2019

Overview
The UW-Madison Summer Dance Pre-Collegiate Invitational is a summer dance weekend intensive for studios/dance programs--their pre-collegiate students and studio directors/teachers. This three-day intensive, for pre-collegiate dancers ages 12 and older, offers the opportunity to produce and showcase studio repertory work at historic Lathrop Hall in the Margaret H'Doubler Performance Space and features a variety of master classes in Contemporary Dance, Ballet, Pilates, African and Asian traditional forms and more.

Students work directly with faculty in a rigorous choreolab to produce new choreography that culminates in a final performance on stage. Classes are designed to give dancers a chance to study with world-class faculty and to develop ideas and concepts for dynamic choreography using the state-of-the-art facilities at the UW-Madison Dance Department.
