Premiere performances feature professional dancers and collaborating partners from Chicago, New York, Georgia, Jamaica, Cuba, Suriname and Guyana. Along with their artist ensembles, Corby and Walker, new assistant professors at the Dance Program, will perform dynamic works that explore concepts of identity, geography and borders. Audiences will be treated to a potpourri of contemporary performance perspectives, including live music and spoken word, while being transported on a sensorial journey through dissolving emotional, theoretical and geographic boundaries.
